Part No.
NTSCGECWOEU NTSCGECCWOEU
in acc. with DIN VDE 0250, Part 813
Applications
For the connection of electrical equipment in mines and underground
excavations with hazardous environments under particularly high
mechanical loads, e.g. high-voltage transformers on power lines
in underground mining and tunnelling. The flexibility of the cable
allows operating equipment to be moved while running. The phase-concentric
earth conductor and the common-concentric monitoring shield, e.g.
in conjunction with a highvoltage protection circuit, make it possible
to monitor the cable for insulation faults and damage resulting
from external influences.

Construction
Fine stranded conductor of tinned copper wires, conductor smoothing
via conductive rubber layer, insulation of heat-resistant 3G13 rubber
compound on EPR basis, field limiting via outer conductive rubber
layer, earth conductor as spiral of tinned copper wires over the
outer semi-conductive layer of the cores, pilot cores in flexible
design with coloured EPR insulation (3G13), cores laid up, the pilot
cores being laid in the outer interstices, film wrapping, inner
sheath of GMl b rubber compound of high mechanical strength, monitoring
shield of conductive rubberized textile tape and spiral of copper
and steel wires, intermediate sheath of GM1 b rubber compound of
high mechanical strength, overall sheath of chlorinated rubber compound
5GM5, red, abrasion and notch-resistant, oil-resistant and flame
retardant (NTSCGECWOEU -TENAX-H). In the case of particularly high
mechanical loads, the cable can be provided with a braided armour
of galvanised steel wires below the outer sheath. This armouring
also forms an external, earthed shield (NTSCGECCWOEU - TENAX-HP)
.
The cables are generally supplied in matched lengths of 100m or
200m. Both cable ends are equipped with terminations which are adapted
to the entry fitting in the high-voltage connection box.
